West Point Rescue was founded in 1971 as an independent volunteer organization for the express purpose of providing emergency medical service.  Although we work closely with the West Point Volunteer Fire Department and share many of the same facilities, we function as an independent organization.  Operation is funded by the City of West Point and the West Point Rural Fire Protection District.
