Police Officer Job Opening

The City of West Point, Nebraska, is accepting applications for the position of police officer. Prior experience and certification by the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center preferred but not mandatory. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions and possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license. Starting salary for a certified officer is $28.31 per hour, plus $1 an hour shift differential for Evening Shift and $2 an hour shift differential for Overnight shift.
